Chord/Tab song: Stories With Unhappy Endings

Chord,Tablature, lyric, sheet, guitar, ukulele song: Stories With Unhappy Endings - ( So here I am again, this is my second tab only. If you ha...)

--
So here I am again, this is my second tab only. If you haven't seen the first one
(I Slept With Someone In Fallout Boy...), go check it out. It's got some info on
they way I do things.

Also for this tab, there are ZERO videos of Hundred Reasons playing it on youtube,
and ZERO covers of it (though there may be some after I post this tab ;) ). So
some of it will probably sound (and be) wrong, but I learned it all by ear, so
those of you out there reading this that say "I learned it by ear so I don't have
tabs!", stop being so effing lazy.

That said, let's get started shall we?

On times 2, 4, and 6, at the end of G1's part, G2 does...

[G2]

e|--------|
B|--------|
G|--------|

D|--5-0-0-|
A|--5-0-0-|
D|--5-0-0-|
^

Listen to the song for the timing of this.

Then, G1 has this harmonic bit... I can't quite figure it out, but you can replace
it with this, which sounds close (IMO).

[G1]

e|--12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-|x2

D|--- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -|

Through out this you can bend the strings to get a different sound, just as long
as by the end, the bend is released, and you start to stop the palm muting. G2
follows the end of this with...

[G2]

e|----------------------------|
B|----------------------------|

D|--5-0>-0>-10-10-10-10-10-10-|
----------

END VERSE 1 (1:03)

CHORUS 1 (1:03)

----------

G1's part I can't really tell what it is, but people who I've asked say that it's
just three notes, as below...

[G1]

e|--0-----3-----0-----3-----5-----7-----5-----3-----|x2
B|----1-----1-----1-----1-----6-----6-----6-----6---|
G|------2-----2-----2-----2-----5-----5-----5-----5-|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|

The other way I think it could be played is...

[G1]

e|--0---------3-| (continue like this with the rest of the e notes).
B|------1---1---|
G|----2---2-----|
D|--------------|
A|--------------|
D|--------------|

...or maybe...

[G1] [G1]

e|--0-------| and e|--5-------|
B|----1-----| B|----6-----|
G|------2---| G|------5---|
D|--------3-| D|--------7-|
A|----------| A|----------|
D|----------| D|----------|

...so yeah. It's pretty hard to hear. Listen to the song for the timings.

After that, assuming the part is even there, G1 repeats something like this (and
you can vary it based on my notes above, just as long as you keep it the same as
what you did for the rest of the chorus)...

[G1]

e|--0-----|x8
B|----1---|
G|------2-|
D|--------|
A|--------|
D|--------|

Otherwise, just play the same thing as G2 (see below).

After that, G1 plays the first half of the PRE-INTRO.

G2 immediately starts playing this after the end of its part in VERSE 1:

All of this verse is the same up to where G1 does the "harmonics" part at 12.

At that point, slide your hands or the pick up and down the fretboard in time with
the song, and end on:

You'll have to listen for the timings; make sure to read my notes as well.

At the end of this (or the start of the OUTRO depending on how you look at it), do
a pick slide on the low strings (D and A) starting at the end of the neck, and
moving away from the headstock.

As I said above, during these last parts for G2, I can't tell what G1 is doing.
It's probably either the same thing as G2, or the parts it was previously doing,
just quieter. The song also seems to end on a lower chord than an open strum in
drop D, which means the song might be a half step down from there as well. I
tabbed this in Drop D though, and all the rest sounds right to me.
