INTRO VERSE-
I[C] was crawling around in my head in the haze of a [Am]trance.
Rico said, [C]"I'ma turn you onto a sound[Am], cool out your head.[F]
This is the sound from Camden [G]town."

[C]And then I heard it like a shot through my skull to my brain,
I[Am] felt my fingertips tingle and it started to rain,
W[C]hen the walls of my bedroom were tremblin' around me,
T[Am]his ramshackle voice over attack of a bluesbeat,
T[F]ellin' me he's only looking for [G]fun.
[Am]This was the sound of the [G]very last gang in tow[F]n.

CHORUS:
As heard by my [C]wild young heart, like directions on a [F]cold dark night,
Sayin', [C]'Let it out... [F]You're doin' all right.'
And I heard it in his [C]chain gang soul.
It wasn't just the [F]same sad song.
Saying, [C]'Let it out, you're doing all right.[F]'
And I'm doing all [Em]right, are you doin' al[F]l right?[G][C]

VERSE:
A[C]nd I carried these songs like a comfort wherever I'd g[Am]o.
T[C]hey was there when my summers was high, [Am]there when she left me alone.
[F]Saying... 'The soul is hard to [G]find.'

A[C]nd I never got to tell him so I just wrote it down,
I[Am] wrapped a couple chords around it and I let it come out,
W[C]hen the walls of my bedroom trembled around me,
T[Am]o this ramshackle voice over attack of a bluesbeat,
A[F]nd a girl, on the excitement gang[G].
That was the[Am] sound of the very last ga[F]ng in town[G].

CHORUS:
As heard by my [C]wild young heart, like directions on a [F]cold dark night,
Sayin', [C]'Let it out... You're doin' all [F]right.'
And I heard it in his [C]chain gang soul.
It wasn't just the [F]same sad song.
Saying, '[C]Let it out, you're doing all r[F]ight.'
And I'm doing all [Em]right, are you doin' all [G]right?

BRIDGE:

[C] [Am] [C] [Am] [F] [G]

[Em]ohh...[Em][F][G]

CHORUS

And are you doing [Am]alright?
That was the [G]sound...
Do you hear the[Am] sound?
I hear the s[G]ound...
O[F]f the very last gang [C]in town...

So tell me what you think, it was my first tab.
