Stuart plays the intro with lots of delay; delay volume only slightly
lower
than the original signal. Use lots of repeats on the delay and use
chorus
to fill out the sound. You'll get a great effect and the delay does a
lot
of the work for you; it will play the notes in brackets for you
making the riff much easier to play. I've only included the bracketed
notes
in the first 4 bars (coz it was too much like hard work) but they
continue
as long as the riff does. Stuart uses various different pitch shift and
octaver settings at different parts of the intro - and during the e-bow
sections - sometimes it's an octave up sometimes a fifth or a seventh up
I
think. Listen to the live King Biscuit Flower Hour version and you'll
hear
this clearly.
